Rachael Herring

Rachael Herring is a landscape designer with a passion for connecting people to nature through thoughtful, community-focused design. With a background in horticulture and a degree in landscape architecture from Purdue University, she brings a unique perspective to every project. In 2024, she was recognized as an Olmsted Scholar by the Landscape Architecture Foundation for her commitment to advancing the profession through storytelling and environmental stewardship. Rachael enjoys merging art and science to create landscapes that are both beautiful and ecologically resilient. Now based in Houston, she is pursuing licensure and is excited to contribute to projects that leave a lasting impact. Outside of work, Rachael finds joy in baking — especially sharing homemade treats with friends, family, and coworkers.
