Mia’s passion for landscape architecture began with the idea of “painting with plants,” a concept that first captured her imagination at Ball State University. Her work explores how thoughtful design can restore and celebrate ecological systems, particularly native prairie landscapes. She continues to expand her knowledge in soil health and restoration, bringing an ecological sensitivity and artistic perspective to every project.
